(And Who We’re Not)

It didn’t start with passion. It started with frustration—a deep, soul-crushing frustration.

 

Every bakery, every café, every event… the same desserts. Maybe good, maybe not, but always boring AF

 

Sure, things have evolved (for sure, for sure, for sure), but I still couldn’t find the flavors I craved. Where was the red velvet cake that made me go “Mmmhhh” with every bite?

After tasting mind-blowing cakes, cookies, and cinnamon rolls on U.S. road trips and realizing Belgium had none of it... I had two choices: keep complaining or start baking. So I did. The seed of Naked Cakes was born.

 

No over-the-top decorations. No dry, lifeless sponge. No drowning in frosting. Just big, bold, American-inspired flavors made for people who care about taste & texture.

❌ Same-old, seen-it-a-million-times desserts. Predictable isn’t our thing.
❌ Fondant-covered sugar sculptures. We bake, we don’t sculpt.
❌ Decorations overload. If the cake isn’t good on its own, it’s not good enough.
❌ Custom everything.  We do what we do best—no “but can you make it in the shape of my dog?” requests.
❌ Playing it safe. Our flavors are bold, our cookies are chunky, and our vibe is anything but basic.
